HARDWICK, A small child was discovered walking alone on Mill Street early on the morning of July 12, according to the Lamoille County Sheriff's Department.
Citizens spotted the child around 5:38 a.m. and contacted law enforcement, staying with the child until deputies arrived. The child was quickly reunited with a parent, who had been asleep and was not aware the child had left the home during the night.
