Hardwick Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at the Buffalo Mountain Co-Op building on Mill Street on April 29 at 4:34 p.m.

The driver, Robert Bigelow, was operating a 1999 Chrysler Sebring. According to police, Bigelow said he was pulling into a handicap parking space next to the store when he pressed the accelerator instead of the brake. The vehicle struck the side of the building, damaging the driver’s side front fender and an exterior refrigeration unit.
