Car Fire on Cole Road in Westmore Draws Fire Response

At approximately 3:21 PM, emergency crews were dispatched to Cole Road in Westmore for a vehicle fire. Charleston Fire responded, with units from Newport Ambulance and other agencies that had been involved in the Mount Pisgah search redirected to the scene.

By 3:30 PM, multiple units were clearing the scene, though some remained on site. At approximately 3:56 PM, crews cleared the scene and returned to service. No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
