At 11:57 AM, Newport Ambulance responded to 609 West Street in Derby for a report of a 78-year-old male who fell outside the residence and may have sustained an elbow injury. Multiple units were dispatched to the scene, including Newport Police and ambulance crews. Initial reports indicate the man was conscious and alert. Medics are evaluating the extent of his injuries.
