HARDWICK, A warm and humid air mass will build over the region through Friday, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms each day. After a sunny Tuesday, fog may develop overnight into Wednesday morning.

Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high near 83 and a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Overnight low around 63.

Thursday sees a 60 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms, with a high near 84. Friday will be the hottest day, with a high near 89 and a 50 percent chance of showers after 2 p.m., followed by a chance of thunderstorms overnight.

Over the weekend, temperatures cool slightly. Saturday is mostly sunny with a high near 83, but showers are likely before 8 a.m. Sunday will be partly sunny with a high near 79 and a 30 percent chance of showers.

Early next week, temperatures are expected to return to more seasonal levels.
