Barre man arrested on warrant in St. Johnsbury

St. Johnsbury police arrested a Barre man on an active warrant the morning of July 10. Tyler White, 33, was taken into custody around 5:38 a.m. in front of the Welcome Center in St. Johnsbury.

According to police, White had an active arrest warrant out of Barre City for narcotics possession and violation of probation. He was transported to the Northeast Correctional Center in St. Johnsbury and placed in Department of Corrections custody.

Aarraignment was scheduled for later that day at 12:30 p.m. in Caledonia County Court.

The arrest was made by Officer James McGowan of the St. Johnsbury Police Department.
