At approximately 8:34 PM, Vermont State Police received a report of a wrong-way driver traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 91 near mile marker 173. The vehicle was described as a four-door Ford Ranger, and the caller was using a 911-only phone. Units responded and attempted to intercept the vehicle.
At 8:42 PM, a trooper requested updates on the wrong-way driver. Dispatch confirmed that only one call was received and that the vehicle may have reached its destination or turned off without further incident.
