At approximately 8:16 AM, dispatchers received reports of shots fired in St. Johnsbury. A unit on scene reported hearing what sounded like gunshots and requested the road name. The exact location and circumstances are under investigation. No injuries have been confirmed at this time. At around 8:30 AM, officers reported that a suspect fled on foot. By 8:37 AM, units were searching a wooded area in an attempt to locate the individual. Further details are limited.
