At approximately 5:30 PM, Vermont State Police responded to a report of a sexual assault involving a juvenile at Ground Park on Parks Road in St. Johnsbury. Initial reports indicate that a juvenile was groped and sexually assaulted by another juvenile during a large concert at the park. Officers arrived and located a person of interest inside the park. The victim identified the suspect, and officers detained the individual. The suspect has a history of being confrontational and aggressive, according to dispatch communications.

The suspect was described as a male, about 5-foot-11, with a shape head, mustache, blonde hair, wearing a red hoodie and gray sweatpants. He was last seen on foot walking toward the railroad parking lot near the park. Officers coordinated and at approximately 5:43 PM reported taking a person into custody.
