Wires Hanging on Main Street in St. Johnsbury

At approximately 5:57 PM, St. Johnsbury Police were dispatched to a report of a female flagging down officers near the park area on Main Street near Mount Pleasant. The woman pointed out something hanging, which was later identified as protective wiring for overhead telephone lines.

By 6:01 PM, officers confirmed the wires were not electrical and were just protective covers. Fire department personnel may be called to cut the wires down. No injuries have been reported.
