A pair of North Country girls basketball players helped their team become the first Vermont squad to win the Platinum Division at the GymRat Tournament in Albany, New York. The tournament has been running for 28 years.
Ava Patten and McKenna Rowell, both of North Country, played for the Blue Print AAU team, which went 7-0 over the weekend, including a 4-0 run on Sunday to secure the championship.
