At approximately 3:33 PM, St. Johnsbury Police were dispatched to the library in St. Johnsbury for a report of a vehicle that came skidding through, struck the mail, and a male subject outside yelling and screaming. According to initial reports, the vehicle knocked out the mail and the person was described as running around and yelling. The library has locked its doors for safety. No injuries have been reported at this time. Officers are on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Additional reports indicate the male was described as wearing a blue shirt and was dropped off by a white bag. Dispatchers noted the individual had recently been released from probation. A description of the vehicle remained limited.
