Person Found Unconscious in Vehicle on Fort Main Street in St. Johnsbury

At approximately 11:38 AM, St. Johnsbury Police responded to a report of an unconscious person in a vehicle on Fort Main Street near North Lane. According to dispatch, the person was found in the passenger seat of a green Ford F-150 and was initially unresponsive but later regained consciousness. The complainant reported that the person appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol and did not know her own name. The complainant requested police to prevent the person from driving. EMS was on scene.

At approximately 12:02 PM, first responders reported that the individual was alert and oriented and declined to be transported to a hospital. The person indicated they were waiting for someone. Police are working to confirm the person's identity and ensure their well-being. The incident remains under investigation.
