Vermont State Police say a Troy woman was arrested June 26 on a charge of domestic assault following a report of the incident in the town of Troy.

Troopers responded to a report of a possible domestic assault around 2:57 p.m., according to a police statement. Investigation determined that Zoey Copp, 20, had caused bodily harm to a household member, police said.

Copp was located without incident, arrested, and transported to the Derby barracks for processing. She was later released on a citation to appear in Orleans County Criminal Court on June 29 at 1:00 p.m.

The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of domestic assault or sexual assault.
