Tree down blocks Route 142 at Kimball Hill Road

At approximately 8:56 PM, a report of a tree down blocking both lanes of traffic in the area of 20 EVO Street was received. The location was later confirmed as Route 142 at Kimball Hill Road. Initial reports indicated no power lines were involved, and by 9:10 PM crews said the tree had been removed. However, subsequent reports at 9:19 PM indicated a large log remained in the roadway, with only one lane open and no one standing by. The situation is ongoing. No injuries have been reported.
