At approximately 11:12 AM, emergency responders were dispatched to 100 South Street in Littleton, behind a large white apartment building, for a 61-year-old male who was reportedly very intoxicated and hurting all over. The man was unable to move and was located between the building and the rail trail. By 11:24 AM, responders reported the scene was under control, but they expected to remain on scene for an extended period. At 11:25 AM, Littleton Ambulance requested a staffing recall for coverage. Rail trail command was established at 11:27 AM, with units on scene for an extended time. At 11:32 AM, Engine 2 was directed to the Little Grill parking lot. At 11:37 AM, an ambulance cleared the scene with no transport, but crews remained on site. At 11:38 AM, Littleton Engine 2 was requested to respond to the Little Grill parking lot. At 11:44 AM, crews reported they were ready to begin a carry-out operation but would wait for additional manpower. At 11:45 AM, they indicated they needed a rope and safety line to ascend a hill and cross a wall. At 11:47 AM, a request was made for a bag of rope and manpower from Engine 2. At 12:05 PM, all Littleton units were cleared and Ambulance 3 transported one person to Littleton Regional Hospital. The scene was terminated.
