Vermont State Police arrested a Newbury man July 14 following a dispute on Topsham Corinth Road in Topsham.
Police responded at about 2:23 p.m. to a residence for a dispute involving three people. During the incident, Theodore Garrison, 62, smashed a vehicle's windshield and caused a disturbance outside the home, according to state police.
When troopers located Garrison down the road, they learned he had three outstanding arrest warrants. He resisted arrest and was taken into custody.
Garrison was transported to the Northeastern Regional Correctional Facility in St. Johnsbury and held without bail. He was cited for unlawful mischief, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
