Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado from a property on Colby Road in Topsham. The truck, green in color and valued at approximately $20,000, was reported stolen by its owner, Bradford Calhoun, 66, of Topsham.

Troopers from the St. Johnsbury barracks responded to the scene after Calhoun reported the theft. He told police the truck was taken from a field on his property sometime between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on July 1, 2026.

No suspects have been identified as of the release of this report. Trooper Chris Santic is leading the investigation and is asking anyone with information about the theft to contact the St. Johnsbury Barracks at (802) 748-3111. Anonymous tips can also be submitted online through the Vermont State Police tip page or by texting the keyword “VTIPS” to 274637.

NEK will be looking into whether nearby surveillance cameras may have captured the theft and whether similar vehicle thefts have been reported in the area recently.
