Three obituaries published this week in the Barton Chronicle note the deaths of longtime Northeast Kingdom residents.
Bradley Reed Crowe, 78, died July 16 at North Country Hospital. A Navy veteran, Crowe served on the USS Pueblo and was a prisoner of war in North Korea. He worked as a lineman and journeyman for the phone company. A celebration of life is planned July 25 at Curtis-Britch and Bouffard Funeral Home in Island Pond.
Kristi R. Hudson, 55, of Gilmanton, N.H., died July 15 at Concord Hospital after an 11-year battle with metastastic breast cancer. Hudson worked as a radiologic technologist. A memorial service will be held July 22 at Gilford Community Church.
Donald Joseph LeBlanc, 70, of Colchester, died July 6 at McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester after living with ALS. He worked at IBM for 29 years. A funeral Mass is scheduled for August 31 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Colchester.
