Cabot Arts will host Christine Malcolm and Sweet Cicely on July 21 from 6 to 7:15 p.m. as part of its Summer Music Series.

The band features Christine Malcolm on guitar and lead vocals, Marc Edwards on lead guitar, Hank Clark on mandolin and harmony vocals, and Fran Forim on upright bass and backing vocals. Their sound blends folk-grass, country and rock with psychedelic influences.

Malcolm released her debut album, “Crickets, Coyotes, and the Big Yellow Moon,” in 2015, winning a Times Argus-Rutland Herald Tammie Award for best country record. Her 2019 follow-up, “I Like You,” was praised by Seven Days as “perhaps the most aptly named Vermont release of the year.”

Attendees should bring a lawn chair or blanket. In case of rain, the concert moves to the Cabot Church.
