Vermont State Police arrested two Sutton men on active warrants June 14 on US Route 5, according to police.

Troopers from the St. Johnsbury and Derby barracks located Wesley Kidder, 36, and Morgan Clark, 28, around 11:30 a.m. and took them into custody without incident, police said.

Kidder faced a Caledonia County warrant for unlawful mischief, domestic assault, violation of probation (two counts), and second-degree aggravated domestic assault. He also had an Orleans County warrant for second-degree aggravated domestic assault. He was held without bail on the Caledonia warrant and with $25,000 bail on the Orleans warrant.

Clark faced two Caledonia County warrants: one for domestic assault ($1,000 bail) and one for failure to appear ($500 bail). He was held for lack of $1,500 total bail.

Both were lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex. They are scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on June 15.
