Structure Fire Reported on West Shore Drive in Groton

At approximately 2:45 PM, the Groton Fire Department was dispatched to 74 West Shore Drive in Groton for a report of a possible structure fire. A caller reported seeing a lot of smoke coming from the location. At 2:48 PM, Engine 1 and a tanker were confirmed responding, with command established. Fire crews are on scene investigating. At 3:25 PM, crews reported that the power company had shut down power to the area as they worked to clear the scene. The status of any occupants is unknown at this time.
