Smoldering Grass Fire Reported in Sugar Hill

At 7:19 AM, the Sugar Hill Fire Department was dispatched to a smoldering grass fire at 291 Blake Road in Sugar Hill. The fire was reported with downed power lines. Responders arrived on scene and located the fire in the area of 141 Lake Road. At 7:27 AM, Sugar Hill K1 reported that Eversource had already repaired the power line and that crews were on scene with police investigating. Firefighters reported the fire was smoldering and there was no power to the lines. No injuries have been reported.
