At approximately 6:13 AM on Friday, June 19, 2026, the Twin State Sugar Hill Fire Department responded to a report of wires on fire at 660 Blake Road in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. Fire crews arrived to find the wires actively burning. A unit was requested to block the road. A rescue unit en route was delayed by a tree down on wires on Center District Road, which also required response. At 6:51 AM, Sugar Hill Rescue 1 arrived on scene at Blake Road to assist. The rescue was subsequently routed via Crane Hill Bridge due to the blockage on Center District Road. At 7:12 AM, rescue personnel were reported on the other side of Blake Road. At 8:38 AM, dispatch received a reference regarding flames at the scene. Further details are pending.
