Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Creek Road in Craftsbury on June 26 at 8:30 p.m.
Troopers from the Derby barracks, along with Hardwick Rescue, Craftsbury Fire, and Grenier's Towing, arrived to find a 2003 Ford Ranger on its roof in a hay field. The driver, Natasha Bali, 31, of Greensboro Bend, was traveling south on Creek Road when she attempted to navigate a corner on loose gravel at a speed officers deemed unreasonable for conditions, according to a police statement. The vehicle left the east side of the roadway, overturned, and came to rest in the field.
Bali was not wearing a seatbelt but was uninjured. The vehicle was totaled. Traffic was briefly delayed during the removal operation. No citations have been reported in connection with the crash.
