At 22:34 Thursday evening, Newport Police and Newport Ambulance were dispatched to a location in Newport City for a 29-year-old trans female experiencing a psychotic episode. The individual is reportedly having psychotic thoughts and requested evaluation at the emergency department. First responders are on scene. Further updates are expected.
