At approximately 3:09 PM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 1734 Crawford Road in Newport City for a subject who had passed out in a police sedan. Initial reports indicated the subject was unresponsive, unconscious, and breathing shallow. At 3:12 PM, dispatch reported that the male was regaining consciousness and appeared to be getting into the passenger seat, with someone else driving. At 3:16 PM, dispatch confirmed that the vehicle had left the scene and cancelled the ambulance response.
