At 8:27 AM, Newport Police and Morgan Rescue were dispatched to 22 West Street, Apartment 8A1, for a 77-year-old male who had fallen. Initial reports indicate the individual is conscious, alert, and breathing. The nature and extent of injuries are unknown at this time.
