Police are investigating after a police officer shot and injured a man Thursday afternoon in Landaff, the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office said.
Officers responded to the area of Lost River Road for a report of a man walking in and out of traffic, according to the AG’s office. During the interaction, several gunshots were fired and the man was struck. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police said there is no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing, and additional details are expected to be released in the coming days.
