At approximately 1:34 AM on Thursday, Vermont State Police issued a be-on-the-lookout for a suicidal subject in the town of Sutton. The individual's cellphone last pinged just south of Route 5 in Sutton. Police have not confirmed whether the person is in a vehicle; no vehicle is currently registered to the subject.
Officers are actively searching the area. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
