The MAC Center for the Arts will host a live poetry reading on Sunday, April 10, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the downstairs gallery at 158 Main Street, Newport.
The event, held in celebration of Poetry Month, is free and open to the public. Readers may present up to three original poems within a five-minute time limit. Both MAC members and community members are welcome to participate.
Those interested in reading should email Dianne Laplante to reserve a time slot. Refreshments will be served.
