North Country's Benjamin Morse places 64th in Vermont State Decathlon

North Country Union High School student Benjamin Morse competed in his first decathlon last week, placing 64th overall out of a large field of competitors. The 2026 Vermont State Decathlon was held at Burlington High School.

Morse's performance was part of a broader event where local teams such as the Rangers and Falcons also earned top-ten finishes, according to results reported in the Newport Daily Express.
