Vermont State Police cited a Derby Line woman for driving under the influence following a traffic stop on East Main Street in Newport on June 13.
Trooper Logan Miller observed a turn signal violation around 8:48 p.m. and initiated a stop. The operator, Breann Somero, 49, showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, police said.
Somero was processed at the Derby barracks and later released on a citation to appear in Orleans County Criminal Division on June 30 at 8:30 a.m.
