A Newport man has died from injuries he sustained in a single-car crash in Derby last month, Vermont State Police said.

Aiden Lamoureaux, 20, was pronounced dead after suffering life-threatening injuries in the May 20 crash on Vermont Route 105. Police said Lamoureaux was driving with a 19-year-old passenger when his vehicle left the roadway, entered a field, and rolled over several times. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car.

Lamoureaux was taken to the University of Vermont Medical Center with critical injuries. The passenger suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone who may have seen the vehicle before the crash is asked to contact Vermont State Police Derby Barracks at 802-334-8881.
