At approximately 10:34 PM on Thursday, Newport Police requested Newport Ambulance to respond to a front porch for a 29-year-old trans female experiencing psychotic thoughts. The individual was reportedly requesting evaluation at the emergency department. Newport Ambulance acknowledged the call and was en route. Further details are pending.
