At approximately 10:22 AM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 71 Spring Street, Apartment 2, in Newport City for a 42-year-old male who was reportedly feeling suicidal. Units arrived on scene shortly after. According to dispatch reports, the patient was being transported to North Country Hospital. By 10:40 AM, crews cleared the scene. Further details about the man's condition have not been released.
