At 3:49 PM, emergency services including Orleans Ambulance were dispatched to Maple Lane Retirement Home at 33 Maple Lane in Newport City for a 52-year-old female who was hallucinating and at risk of self-harm. At 4:04 PM, Orleans 4 arrived on scene. Shortly after arrival, the patient was reported to be vomiting. At approximately 4:09 PM, a request for mutual aid was made. Additional details are emerging.
