At approximately 10:22 AM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to a residence on Lakemont Road in Newport City for a 27-year-old male who was found sleeping and difficult to rouse. According to initial reports, the man was twitching but breathing normally. Emergency responders were having trouble keeping him awake. Police also responded and were on scene by 10:25 AM. Further details are awaited.
