At approximately 12:51 AM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 60 Maple Lane, the Maple Lane nursing home, for a report of a patient trying to harm themselves. According to first responders, the patient was found lying on the floor and was cooperative and not aggressive at the time of the call. Emergency crews are on scene assessing the situation.
