At approximately 6:50 PM on May 29, 2026, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 72 Pleasant Street, Apartment 2 in Newport City for an 82-year-old male with low blood pressure. The male was conscious and on oxygen. His blood pressure was reported at 82 over 48. Police also responded to the scene. Crews are currently on scene evaluating the patient.
