Medical Emergency for 37-Year-Old Woman in Newport City

At approximately 11:00 PM, Newport Ambulance, Newport Fire, and Newport Police were dispatched to a residence in Newport City for a 37-year-old female who was lethargic and had become unresponsive with snoring respirations. According to first responders, CPR was initiated. By 11:02 PM, units on scene reported that the woman was awake, conscious, and breathing, and they were assessing her mental state. At 11:19 PM, Newport Ambulance cleared the scene and returned to service. Further details are pending.
