A virtual ceremony on June 24 will recognize individuals and organizations who have contributed to substance use prevention in the Newport area, as the Regional Prevention Partnership grant concludes.
The event runs from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. via Zoom, with special guests. Attendees must RSVP to Sunny Naughton at the email provided in the original announcement to receive a link.
The awards highlight collaborative and creative work reaching youth and families with education about substance use prevention over the past four years. Nominees include Suzanne Legare Belcher, Northeast Kingdom Learning Services, Inc., Janet Monette, Barb Morrow, and many others. A full list is available in the original report.
The gathering will celebrate past achievements and lay groundwork for future prevention leaders in the northern Northeast Kingdom.
