Motorcycle crash kills 66-year-old Bradford man in Fairlee

A 66-year-old Bradford man died Thursday night after his motorcycle struck a telephone pole in Fairlee, according to Vermont State Police.

The crash occurred around 11 p.m. on U.S. Route 5 near Mountain Road. Investigators say the man was heading north when he failed to navigate a curve, left the roadway, and hit the pole. He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the Vermont State Police.
