At approximately 7:10 AM, Lin-Wood Ambulance was dispatched to Route 26 in Lincoln for a medical emergency. Initial reports indicate a 53-year-old female with an abscess in her mouth and on her face. According to first responders, the patient had recent wrist surgery and was determined to be allergic to the metal in the plate that had been placed in her wrist, which led to the development of the first abscess on her face. That condition was treated, and now the abscess has recurred. Emergency responders are on scene providing care.
