Trail Medical Emergency on Lafayette Campground Road in Lincoln

At approximately 6:15 PM, emergency responders were dispatched to the trail near site 95 on Lafayette Campground Road in Lincoln for a 57-year-old female who suffered a medical episode earlier in the afternoon with little improvement. According to initial reports, the patient is conscious and breathing. Fish and Game is advising and is currently with the patient, who remains on the trail approximately 30 minutes from the trailhead. Lincoln Ambulance and Windward Ambulance personnel are responding.
