Lyndon Institute, the second seed, fell to top-seeded Mt. Abraham 5-3 in the Vermont Division II state baseball championship Saturday at Centennial Field in Burlington.
Connor Wood provided an early spark for the Vikings. Connor Hale made a running catch in right field to keep the game within reach.
Mt. Abraham scored multiple runs in the fourth inning, which proved too much for Lyndon to overcome.
