At approximately 7:40 AM, St. Johnsbury Police were dispatched to the Union Bank Building at 364 Railroad Street for a report of a lockbox containing methadone found in the lobby. An individual reported the lockbox to building management. Officers responded and secured the substance by approximately 7:45 AM.
Further investigation identified the owner of the lockbox. By approximately 8:25 AM, the property was returned to the owner. No trespass card was issued in connection with the incident.
