A Hardwick coffee shop is expanding its offerings with a new afternoon creemee stand. Front Seat Coffee on Tuesday announced the opening of Tailgate Creemee, a pop-up operating from 3 to 6 p.m. daily. The cafe will remain open until 6 p.m., but barista drinks will stop being served at 3 p.m.
Tailgate Creemee will sell in-house flavored creemees using a local organic base from Old Tower Creamery in Jeffersonville, Vermont, or Hood depending on the flavor. The shop will also make its own waffle cones.
A soft opening on June 7 offered free cones. Front Seat Coffee plans to use this week for improvements and will resume regular Tailgate Creemee operations starting June 13, operating seven days a week thereafter.
