At approximately 12:06 PM, emergency responders were dispatched to 1816 Vermont Route 101 in Troy for a 61-year-old female who had fallen and was unable to get up or put pressure on her leg. According to first responders, the woman is conscious and alert but unable to bear weight on her leg. The extent of her injuries is not yet known. Troy Rescue and Newport Police Department responded to the scene. Details are preliminary and subject to change.
