At approximately 12:07 PM, Newport Ambulance was dispatched to 107 Main Street, apartment 102, for an 89-year-old male experiencing chest pains and difficulty breathing. According to dispatch, the patient is conscious, breathing, and talking. At 12:08 PM, Newport Ambulance acknowledged the call and responded. At 12:11 PM, Newport 1 arrived on scene. At 12:57 PM, a unit indicated they were transporting the patient to North Country Hospital. At 1:25 PM, Newport 12 arrived at North Country Hospital with the patient. Emergency crews provided medical care on scene. Further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
